As we await the arrival of our 3rd daughter, we are starting to discuss her name.  When we were pregnant with our 1st child, picking her name was a daunting task.  We wanted a name that was not too unusual and yet not too common.  We also wanted to avoid family names so that there weren't any hard feelings and that we were not setting ourselves up to be forced to continue that path if there were more kids.  We narrowed the choices to 5 and took that list to the hospital with us and chose her name (Anna) after she was born.
